Tuesday Tidbits

1. We spent the last week in Saint George and you came down with an ear infection on Wednesday. So now I need to make an appointment with the ENT and see what is going on.
2. Once your ear starting feeling better you were so much happier.
3. You asked non stop about the museum so we went every day except Thursday and Sunday.
4. You told me that I am your favorite girl and daddy is your favorite guy.
5. You've been really into making up your own songs and then we sing them at bed time. So far we have a garbage truck song, friend song, and Jesus song.

Making heart cookies with Grandma Kaye

1. Easiest baby during the day is what I tell people when they ask if you are a good baby.
2. Once you got over your cough I was hoping you'd sleep better the rest of the trip but you didn't but you were amazing during the day like usual and I swear no one besides Gary believes what you do to me during the night.
3. You are so coordinated when it comes to using your fingers. Grandma Kaye has a tag blanket and you could grab the tag you wanted and stuff it in your mouth. I've noticed that before but it was evident with the blanket.
4. If you are not 100% happy when you are in your car seat then you will scream and it must be short distances.
5. Your 6 month clothes are getting a little tight in length.
6. All throughout the trip I had numerous people tell me how gorgeous your blue eyes are and that your smile is to die for. I know- I fall for it every single day.

5. On this trip you are loving all the attention and playing with your cousins.
Adele Corn Festival
I can't take a picture of Lennox without taking one of you
Flying to Utah
Uncle Dan had to go to a meeting and all the kids attacked him to stop him from going

Watching nursery rhymes with cousin Abby
1. You are starting to push off your feet on your back to get to things which leads to you bonking your head. I wish that scooting was on your belly but you still HATE tummy time.
2. While I am feeding you, you have started reaching at my face and stroking it or grabbing it. I also can't drink while holding you because you immediately go to grab it and then I spill all over me.
3. This trip has brought you some misery. You got sick and you were already not sleeping great but now I am lucky if I get 5 hours total.
4.When you do want me to hold you, You've been super cuddly, which I love.
5. I love to hold you but most of the time you love just being on the floor, stretched out doing your own thing and playing.
6. You tried carrots and peaches this week. You liked the carrots and did not like the peaches. You love banana oatmeal baby cereal.
7. I try working on tummy time but you flip too fast.

and just because this is my blog I added all of my favorites

Tuesday Tidbits

1. You've learned how to facetime people.
2. You sang the opening song in church with me and it was adorable and funny. You were making up your own words and tune.
3. Most be going through a growth spurt because you are eating me at of house and home.
4. A new friend, Lynlee, moved in and you two are two peas in a pod.
5. If I don't buckle my seatbelt right away and do it mid-driving (I am awful about this), you always hear it and point out that I was/am a stinker.
6. The latest is that when you turn 4 in January we are going to move to Florida by Elle Rae and go down the water slide. He tells this story to anyone who will listen :)
Playing at Racoon River
1. Guess what!? You are warming up to your jump-a-roo!! Now you will actually bounce and stay in there for 10min!
2. You are becoming a difficult child to nurse. You will not be covered. You will not stay latched on. You come on and off every 5 seconds (no joke, I am dieing). You get distracted easily.  So what should be a 10min job takes 20min. You still need to eat 2.5-3 hrs. You still nurse twice at night.
I've got to be honest. Nursing is not what it's cracked up to be. Gary and I joke the 3rd will just be bottle fed...I am not joking anymore.
3. You started screaming in an adorable way. It's like you found this new trick and want to try it out over and over. Lately, we've notice you scream to get our attention because when we look over at you, you have a smile as if you are so proud you accomplished your goal of distracting us. What's so cute is you get all excited like you can't contain yourself and take several breaths in to prepare.
4. You started arching your back when I put you in the car seat. I have to now force you in and buckle you in as fast as possible and you still melt down over it.
5. We are entering a new phase where we can't leave you near dangerous things. You will push off with your feet and side roll (You don't ever roll 180, always 90, but you can do 180 rolls) to get to whatever you see. We also find you turned all the time in your crib.
