Tuesday Tidbits

1. You are constantly getting the art supplies out to make something "special" to put in your "special" (memory) box.
2. You request chicken nuggets for either lunch or dinner everyday.
3. You had to pee at the grocery store so we went to the bathroom. While walking out, another grandpa man walked  out of the men's bathroom. You immediately asked the man, "Hey, did you go potty?"
"Why, yes I did. Did you?"
"I bet you feel much better now"
I was completely embarrassed, the man thought it was funny, and you were just thinking you were having a normal everyday conversation with a stranger.
4. Without a doubt, you introduce yourself to a stranger everyday and then preceed to tell people, "this is my mommy, Carly and my brother, Mennox".
5. We went to meet with the bishop for tithing settlement and I had to do it without Dad. I was worried because every time we are in a scenario like this you go CRAZY. I talked to you about staying in the chair and letting mommy talk on the way there. You were not perfect but I did feel like you tried the best you could.
1. You were on the mend, and then you got sick again towards the end of the weekend.
2. You are becoming so hard in Sacrament Meeting. You don't want to be on the ground, or in my arms, or playing... you want to go to bed. The last 15minutes are painful until I can drop brother off at nursery and find a quiet spot to rock you to sleep.
3. You are almost fully bottle fed. You are still having a mix of breast milk and nursing at night.
4. I bought you a sleep sack because with the awful Iowa winters we are noticing that you are getting really cold at night. Since buying it I think it is helping you sleep past 6am!!
5. Your second tooth pooped through!
6. You had your 9 month appointment and you are still tall and skinny!

Tuesday Tidbits

1. You started feeling better so I took you to the zoo and we brought your friend Emma. You guys are the perfect friends and you play so well together. Taking both of you to the zoo is easier then taking one of you.
2. The stuff animal, Crocodile also known as Crocky, is becoming more and more "real". He comes everywhere with us, you put him to bed, and he sits at the dinner table now.
3. Since Dad hasn't been around, the time he is around you want his undivided attention 100% of the time.
4. We are struggling a lot with with talking back. I think you are finally understanding the concept and realize there will be consequences.
5. If you could eat chocolate chip pancakes every day for breakfast you would. I limit it to twice a week.

1. The biggest news of the week is you are getting ear tubes! November 17 is the date.
2. This past week you have been just trying to get feeling better. Lots of holding, tears, and medicine this week.
3. I also decided to stop nursing. You are actually make the transition very smoothly and love the bottle. The formula hasn't been hard either, we just slowly added more and more each time and within 3 days you are taking straight formula. I am struggling with guilt. However, I shouldn't because my main goal was 6 months and I made it to 9! I also know this is the best decision because I mentally and physically couldn't handle it anymore- too many breakdowns and I needed Dad to help.
4. You are sleeping better since we made the transition. You go to bed at 7:15pm, wake up between 2-4am to nurse(still haven't dropped that), and then between 6-7am you wake up for the day. It isn't perfect but it is so much better then twice a night.
5. I could go on and on about how frustrated you are getting since you can't move but I'll just say this. YOU WANT TO MOVE/Crawl, and can't.

Tuesday Tidbits

1. Halloween was even more magical with than last year. You were so excited to be Ninja Turtle and especially Rapheal.
2. You got to go trick-or-teating 4times! Mall, Preschool, Begger's Night, and Trunk-or-Treat.
3. You caught a pretty nasty cold.
4. By Monday I had to take you and your brother in to see the doctor. You were on the verge of brochitis so we got you some steroids and an antibiotic because you were complaining your head hurt so we were also worried about a sinus infection. You didn't get to go to pre school and you were more devastated then I was.
5. Your favorite nursery ryhme is the 5 little ducks and Finger Family.

1. Halloween wasn't as fun for you as it was for Austin. You did not like your costume and you caught your worst sickness to date.
2. I could tell by Thursday night you weren't yourself and by Friday night I knew we were in for it. Saturday night, Dad and I were up with you all night. You couldn't breath and your coughing kept waking you up. So Monday morning I took you in, along with your brother, and you had a right ear infection. You now have an appointment with the ENT next week.
3. You are now in size 3 diapers.
4.  When I put you in your carseat you start freaking out by arching your back and crying.
5. When Austin sings the 5 little ducks he can usually get you laughing pretty hard and it is adorable.
